Hyattsville veterinarian, Dr. Khianey, and our staff at Prince George�s Animal Hospital offer a full-service vet clinic for all petcare needs. While our practice generally treats dogs and cats, we do offer service for rabbits, ferrets, and pocket pets (please contact us directly for further details).

Services we offer include general veterinary care, surgeries, spay and neuter procedures, emergency services, and international health certificates. We also offer veterinarian supervised cat boarding and dog boarding. For Hyattsville pets adopted from local shelters, we also provide free exams. In addition, we also offer bathing and nail trim services for dogs and cats.

Prince George�s Animal Hospital is also one of the few vet clinics in Washington DC that is hip pin certified. This enables us to provide exceptional pet care during orthopedic surgery procedures.


With over 25 years in business, our clinic has evolved into one of the most state-of-the-art care pet care centers in the Washington DC area. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments, and are constantly trying to find the newest and most innovative ways to treat our pet patients.

Prince George's Animal Hospital is proud to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA-accredited hospitals adhere to rigorous standards to ensure that your pet receives the highest quality care available. AAHA is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada. Approximately 3,000 AAHA-accredited hospitals voluntarily choose to be evaluated on 900 standards in the following areas: quality of care, diagnostic and pharmacy, management, medical records, and facility. Consultants regularly visit these hospitals to ensure compliance with AAHA�s Standards of Accreditation for services and facilities. Thus, our entire animal hospital staff continuously strives to adhere to these high standards during the treatment of each patient.

In addition, Prince George�s Animal Hospital is one of few animal clinics to be trusted by the Department of Homeland Security in treating service animals in the Washington DC area.

Prince George's Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, and most major credit cards. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered. However, we understand that not everyone is in a position to have funds available at all times, and for this reason, we offer CareCredit, an independent organization through which payment plans are available. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer billing service to our patients.
